You should not need an analyst, a bookkeeper and a stock planner before you have your first customer. Seed, Roots and Harvest put all three on one account at one price, with allowances shared across every brand you build rather than counted again for each one.
Sprout and Develop are people doing the work rather than software, so those are quoted for the job.
Yearly, paid up front
$300/year
twelve months at the opening rate, then $500 a year
Start yearlyWhat the first year costs
The yearly price is not a discount on the rate. It is twelve months at the opening one, which is why it saves $150: the six months you would otherwise pay $50. After the first year, yearly is $500 against $600 of monthly, so it saves $100.
The same allowances whichever way you pay, shared across every brand on the account.

Roots

Harvest

Seed
Each one scores an idea across fourteen analysers.
Not in the subscription
Sampling, manufacturing, tooling, freight, duty, product photography and launch marketing are things people do and things that get made. They are quoted per project, because a thousand units of one product costs nothing like a thousand of another, and no subscription can cover a cost that is set by your factory rather than by us.
Expect two kinds of cost. Per unit, which is the product itself plus tooling, samples, freight and duty, paid to the people making and moving it. And project management, which is our time running it, scoped against what the project actually needs rather than charged as a percentage of a number nobody has agreed yet.
The portal costs nothing. Once you have an engagement, the Sprout app that tracks it comes with it. Charging a monthly fee to look at a project you have already paid for would be absurd.
Your records are never at risk. Roots accepts every receipt you upload, past the allowance or not, because keeping records is something the law requires of you and refusing an upload over a counter would be indefensible. Harvest keeps forecasting every SKU you track, and no figure you already have changes.
One thing waits. Past the allowance Roots still stores the receipt, but reading it queues rather than happening straight away. You can type it in yourself in the meantime, and the queue is read as soon as the allowance resets or you move to a larger one.
Nothing is charged behind your back. We tell you when you are over and ask you to acknowledge it, and we ask again if you go a whole allowance further rather than treating one yes as a yes to anything. Moving to Suite Scale is a decision you make, before it takes effect, and it is the only thing that changes what you pay.
Suite Scale
$65 a month, or $650 a year
350 receipts read a month, up from 65, and 1,000 active SKUs, up from 250. Paid yearly it saves $130.
Validate an idea before you pay for anything. You will know within minutes whether the rest is worth it.
